- J.D Power – #1 Large Airport in 2022
The goal of this expansion was to create a seamless, streamlined, experience for Tampa International Airport passengers who do not require checking bags at Ticketing or stop at Baggage Claim. The elevated roadway concrete was complete prior to steel erection leaving only one entry point to deliver steel. GMF was challenged to maneuver through existing concrete columns with only a 25-foot gap. This airport is the first in the United States to debut Express Curbsides, allowing passengers to bypass the ticketing level and arrive directly at the transfer level of the Main Terminal.
