Project Spotlight U.S. Courthouse – Fort Lauderdale, FL

The United States Court System is expanding its footprint with a new eleven-story courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Inside are 12 courtrooms, including Bankruptcy, Special Proceedings, and Standard District, and 14 judges’ chambers. This facility will play a pivotal role in serving the community and supporting the administration of justice.

GMF Steel Group is furnishing and erecting more than 2,000 tons of structural steel and miscellaneous metals as part of a $13 million steel package. The work includes 300,000 square feet of deck, splice columns, and two stair towers rising to the roof.
