Airside D is part of Tampa International Airport’s three-phase expansion plan, designed to support the airport’s continued growth. This state-of-the-art, 16-gate terminal will serve as the airport’s new international arrivals and departures facility, increasing capacity while advancing Tampa International Airport’s vision for the future.
The new Airside D features several unique structural elements, including multiple plate girders weighing more than 50,000 pounds, a long-span truss, a variety of true helix-shaped members, and rolled and sloped roof sections.
