Clays for a Cause
Clays for a Cause is our annual charity event where the Norman Family Foundation partners with GMF Steel Group to benefit local organizations that encourage and foster young individuals’ interest in construction skilled trades. All attending clients and vendors create their own Clay Shooting Squad and are provided additional benefits to the event based on different donation tiers. This event would not be the same without our amazing sponsors, and we are most thankful for the opportunity to raise money for great organizations.
Family Days
Every year, our team comes together outside the office to connect, celebrate, and build stronger relationships. These gatherings are a chance to step away from our daily routines and enjoy time with colleagues in a relaxed setting. What makes these events even more special is that they often include our families, creating opportunities for everyone to share in the experience.
Department Mixers
Our team hosts mixers that bring everyone together in a relaxed, social setting. These gatherings feature creative themes and fun activities—ranging from seasonal celebrations to friendly competitions—making them a great opportunity to unwind, build relationships, and strengthen our sense of community.
Florida Southern College Athletics
GMF Steel Group is proud to be a major sponsor of Florida Southern Athletics. With this sponsorship, GMF has the opportunity to have branding at four sporting venues and provide career discussions to student-athletes directly from GMF’s executive management.
These career events are attended by all Florida Southern Athletes, and GMF shares career opportunities at the company and provides coaching on professional development through personal branding, business etiquette, and career perspective. GMF’s goal is to provide professional insights to local athletes no matter their career intentions.
